By accessing or using Wrenworth Tax ("Wrenworth," "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Wrenworth provides an AI-powered tax intelligence platform that includes:
Wrenworth provides tax information, not tax advice. The Platform, including Rico (our AI assistant), provides general tax information and computational tools. It does not provide professional tax advice within the meaning of Treasury Circular 230.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your tax return. While we use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure calculation accuracy, you are solely responsible for reviewing and approving your return before filing.
The IRS has not reviewed, certified, or approved this tool.
Audit risk scores are estimates only. The IRS Discriminant Information Function (DIF) formula is classified. Our risk assessments are based on publicly available IRS Statistics of Income data and academic research, and may not reflect actual IRS audit selection criteria.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Free Tier: Simple 1040 filing and basic tax tools are available at no cost. We reserve the right to modify free tier features with 30 days notice.
Paid Subscriptions: Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial periods.
Usage-Based Services: SMS, voice AI, and other usage-based features are billed based on consumption beyond included allowances.
Wrenworth connects consumers with independent Enrolled Agents, CPAs, and Tax Attorneys. These professionals are not employees of Wrenworth. We verify credentials but are not responsible for the quality of their services. Any engagement between you and a tax professional is a direct relationship governed by their own engagement terms.
Rico provides tax information based on IRS rules and regulations. Rico does not provide legal or professional tax advice. Rico's responses are generated by AI and may contain errors. Always verify important tax decisions with a qualified professional.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Platform, you consent to data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wrenworth's total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the fees you paid to Wrenworth in the 12 months preceding the claim. Wrenworth is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost tax savings, IRS penalties, or audit outcomes.
You agree to indemnify Wrenworth against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your tax filings, or your violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
